I have the willow Craft good Swaddle Wide e black and Dark mahogany and i had in the past the Taurus Camp Grain Wallet mahogany and im not I'm not comparing but Jaimie Jacobs Slimstar and Magstar are Full Grain Veg Tanned Leather according to the company itself and I see the grain in the leather so I don't understand how it only has 3 stars and not at least 4! It's not being a fanboy but you have to give due value!!!

You said on flap boy review is genuine Italian Leather but i have Slimstar and Magstar and they said is Full Grain Veg Tanned Leather and at beggining it smooth but with one day of use you can see is full Grain Leather and good quality too! I use jaimie Jacobs for years since nano boy and NB Pocket and is is Amazing!!! I think you should give it a second chance, but this is only my opinion. Too complicated

Concept is fun, but the quality of materials seems very sus. I imagine this thing will disintegrate in a couple years like the wallets you buy at the mall.

the usual magic wallets always looks like to large individual pieces strapped together. For me they are too big, and not cohesive looking to even consider. This design hidden within a bifold is a really interesting development. It is a big design improvement.

This may seem like an odd question, but how did you acquire this wallet? I wanted to order the Nano Boy wallet, as I liked the feature set it had, but was unable to purchase it due to being in the US. Because of this I’ve stuck with my Nomatic and Chums wallets, but have always wanted that NB wallet.

This can double as an EDC pouch, either in leather or nylon. Store your pen. Put a notebook in the passport slot. Travelers Company and others sell B7 passport-sized notebooks which fit perfectly. A7 notebooks from Rhodia, Rite in the Rain and Life Noble would also work (I use those in the Allett Original). Field Notes would stick up a bit. In the credit card slots, store a Victorinox SwissCard Lite, LeverGear Tool Card and Clutch 5K charger. Hell, maybe even a Boker credit card knife or an old SOG Synch I. Keep a fresnal in the cash pocket.

Did you check whether the cards fall out if you shake the wallet? Especially when you do not insert the max number of cards?

Anyone knows a competitor? All the current ones I see have springs and elastic bands, mechanics that tend to fail. Decadent Minimalist is cool but really expensive.

I prefer no money clip. I keep cards in one pocket and cash in the other (in a plain old money clip). I carry a good bit of cash in 20s, 10s, 5s and 1s. It makes for a bulky pile that doesn't work well with any minimalist card wallet. Why? Well think about it. Most of insist on RFID protection, but then many people go to a restaurant and hand their card to a complete stranger that walks away with it for 10 minutes. Really folks??? I pay cash at restaurants and anywhere I can. Less chance of getting hacked. Also, some people that I pay with cash are very happy about it. They're responsible for paying their taxes. Ahem...

Thanks for another informative review. I don't know if you mentioned it already or not, but you used to use fountain pens in your videos (all Pelikan?) and no longer do. What was the reason for stopping that? By the way, Pelikan makes stunning pens; I have an M805 Stresemann myself.

Hi, I’ve been looking for a slim wallet that can fit 12 cards and 15 cash. I’ve been watching reviews of the Trayvax Contour but I think it will not fit to my needs. Do you have any recommendations? Currently, I have the Maxpedition Spartan Wallet. I liked it but it’s kinda big.

I just can’t buy wallets from big companies anymore……Not when I can get a handmade and hand stitched wallet from a company like open sea leather.

Will it come out from day to day use?

I've looked a so many bellroy wallets and imo none beat the flip case, I know that's probably not a popular opinion but I just really like the hardshell design. I work in some pretty tough conditions and a normal wallet like this would be ripped to shreds. I have a V1 tho so the issue with embossed (thankfully I only have 1 card that is embossed). Trouble is I have yet to find anything close to it outside of sketchy wallets on like shein, temu or aliexpress. With the exception being maybe the pelican wallet but it's quite bulky. I could see myself using something like this when I'm not working though.

Price a 3? For 20 dollars? I'd feel pretty confident if they had stress testing on the snap. Esp since it doesn't have a quick access. Interested to see how well the whole thing holds up over time.
